About Us

Since 1974, Goppert-Trinity Family Care Center has served Kansas City families from its location at Research Medical Center Brookside Campus. Thousands of patients depend on Goppert-Trinity each year to meet their family's healthcare needs. In addition, we’re leading the way into the future of family medicine with our post-graduate Residency Program. This three-year program trains physicians in the specialty of family medicine by allowing them to work with experienced family physicians. Click here to view our brochure.

From Resident Physician to Family Physician

Our board-certified family physicians provide direct patient care and serve as faculty for our physicians in training. Our resident physicians are selected from among the best graduates of approved medical schools. In both the clinic and the hospital, supervising faculty physicians provide oversight for residents caring for patients. Resident physicians are assigned patients that they follow as they progress through their three years of training. Research has shown that patients at teaching hospitals receive the highest level of care.

Electronic Medical Records and E-Prescriptions

We are pleased to announce that we are converting paper medical records to Electronic Medical Records. As a practice of Midwest Physicians, part of the HCA Midwest Health System, we will be among the first HCA practices in the nation to deploy an all-electronic, or digital, medical record environment. You will notice your caregivers making computerized notes rather than paper notes.

We will also be able to send your prescriptions directly to your participating pharmacy.

During this transition period, your patience and support are appreciated! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to discuss them with our staff.
